Mr Sukhera is a solicitor and Director of Secure Migration Services. He was admitted as a solicitor by the Supreme Court of NSW in 2015.

Mr Sukhera previously worked as a Detention Officer in Immigration Detention Centre Villawood, Entry Clearance Assistant in the British High Commission Islamabad Pakistan and Passport Eligibility Officer in Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Mr Sukhera has attended numerous matters and successfully litigated highly complex issues before Administrative Appeal Tribunal. Mr Sukhera believes in equality, fairness and justice for all, and is an active member of many community organisations.
